QuestionPRENK’s first-minute offer
Do I need a payment card?No payment card is needed for the first minute.
Do I need an account?Your verified phone number is your account.
Do I need ChatGPT sign-in?No. Phone sign-in uses a text code.
Does the minute renew every day?No. It is an initial account allowance.
Can I choose a story before signing in?Yes. Story selection is open before phone setup.
What happens after the trial?More calling time requires a subscription and available minutes.

A free allowance lets you experience the format before deciding whether you want more time. It does not make the service unlimited. Returning to the same account or signing in again does not reset the initial minute.

When comparing free AI prank calling apps, check the unit. One call, one minute, and a balance of credits can describe different amounts of use. Also check whether an offer is initial, recurring, or tied to a promotion. A larger number is not useful without knowing what it buys.

What you need before the phone rings

Start with a friend or family member who has agreed to receive an AI call from you. The exact silly story can stay a surprise. Choose a time when they can talk, and keep the first premise small enough to explain in a sentence.

Link the phone you control using a text code. Outgoing caller ID has a separate verification call before your number can appear on the recipient’s phone. That is setup for using your number, not a payment step. Once verification is complete, PRENK checks its status automatically.

Phone sign-in and caller ID explained

Enter the recipient’s number with its country code or use the available contact options. The recipient gets a phone call rather than an invitation they must open. Check the name and number once before starting.

Choose a ready-made voice or your own

A ready-made AI voice is the quickest way to try a story because it skips sample recording. Use it when the joke is an imaginary character or an absurd situation that does not depend on sounding familiar.

To use your own voice, link your phone account and record 30–60 seconds of clear, natural speech. Confirm that it is your voice and you agree to create the clone. Personal voice creation does not require a subscription in the current flow; it does need the provider connection to be available.

Preview the voice and begin with Natural delivery. A familiar sound can help the premise, but it is an approximation of your speech. If the recording is noisy, improving the sample is more useful than writing a more elaborate story.

The toaster’s day off

Ask my friend for advice because my imaginary toaster is negotiating a day off. Ask whether Sunday or Monday is fair. Follow their answer with one silly benefit the toaster might request, then reveal the joke quickly.

Part of the callWhat to leave room for
OpeningA short hello and a moment for the person to answer.
SetupThe toaster wants a day off; keep the explanation brief.
QuestionLet them choose a day and explain their answer.
Follow-upOne playful response to what they actually said.
RevealExplain the joke and finish while it is still fun.

This is a planning outline, not a second-by-second guarantee. Leave space for a real reply rather than filling the entire minute with a script. One good question is enough to hear whether the conversational format suits you.

After the first attempt

If a call fails, read the status before retrying. A request still connecting or held for review should not be treated as a definite failure. Use the retry option when the app confirms the previous attempt has ended; the recipient may simply have been unavailable.

A subscription adds calling time and access to recordings the recipient has agreed to save. Recording and listening require the relevant participant permission; saving a recording is not automatic permission to share it. The current plans and remaining minutes are visible in the app.

Before upgrading, decide what you want more of: longer conversations, another story, or an agreed recording to replay together. You can learn a lot from one short call without turning the first attempt into a complicated production.
